Measure an Existing Ring

Prepare Your Materials

Use a flexible measuring tape, or a piece of paper/string, along with a pen and ruler. Avoid stretchy materials to ensure an accurate ring size measurement.

Wrap Around Your Finger

Wrap a strip of paper or string around the base of the finger where you’ll wear the ring. Ensure it fits snugly but comfortably, without being too tight

Mark the Overlap

If you are using a string or paper strip, bring both ends together until they overlap. Use a pen to mark the exact point where one end meets or crosses the other end. This mark shows the measurement point.

Measure the inside diameter of your ring in millimeters (mm)then use the Ring Size Conversion Chart to match the measurement with the correct ring size. Choose the size that matches your measurement for the perfect fit.

Measure the Ring’s Inside Diameter

Place the ring on a flat surface and measure the inside diameter straight across the center using a ruler or caliper. This ensures an accurate ring size measurement.

Put the ring sizer on your intended finger

Wear the ring sizer like a normal ring on the finger where you plan to wear the ring.Make sure it fits comfortably not too tight or too loose.

Pull the end to fit your finger

Gently pull the end of the ring sizer until it fits comfortably around your finger. It should feel snug but not tight, allowing easy movement without slipping.

Check if it fits the knuckle

Slide the ring sizer over your knuckle to make sure it moves smoothly without being too tight or difficult to pass through.
